The country shares its borders with Suan, Eritrea, Somalia, Djibouti and Kenya. The population is approximately 85.2 million. Addis Ababa is the capital of Ethiopia. Amharic is the official language of Ethiopia. Christianity is the predominant religion here with approximately 63% of the population being Christians. It is a federal parliamentary republic and is divided into 9 regions and 2 chartered cities for all administrative purposes.
